Miami: It doesn't suck.

Prepare to hate me.

I've been driving all over Florida for work since Wednesday. I've had little piddly things to do at campuses in Orlando, Tampa, and now Miami. I had actually never been south of Orlando until yesterday; and when I had been to Orlando it was 80 hour, 5 day work weeks and constant screaming at hopelessly stoned contractors who can't figure out how to put legs on a laptop podium, but I digress. I'm actually getting this last campus done today (I've only finished a campus earlier than I had planned once before). I'll have all day tomorrow and until 4:00pm the next day to enjoy the place. Normally I'm pretty good about booking flights so I don't waste any of the companies resources on work trips but I gave myself a little wiggle room since I'd be driving a lot this time. I'm certainly not mad that I did.

Does anyone have suggestions for what to do or where to go down here? Good beach? Good local music shop? Good live music venue?
