Distortion (after a while!!) in Sonar

Hi
anyone have a clue why I´m getting distortion when recording in Sonar 7? The thing is, it works perfectly until about 20 seconds then there´s sudden distortion. I´ve got a DELTA 44 soundcard (PCI). I´m running in driver mode WDM/KS. I have tried with different settings for buffersize. Have read somewhere that changing PCI-slot maybe could help.

Running with Win7 64bit (quad)

not real sure, maybe use ASIO instead?

maybe other things are using (trying) the wdm, and interferes. Maybe a program is grabbing too much PCI bandwidth (video cards can do this, check with PCILatency tool).

I agree that trying a new driver would be a step in the right direction.

@ pjk: Thanks for grabbing a lot of these threads. Seems a lot of the regulars are super busy right now and I'm too inexperienced to help as much as I'd like.
