Before everyone tears me down for suggesting a Behringer product I just want to say that I have purchased quite a few products with them and have had nothing but good luck. That being said has anyone actually heard these in action? I have found like 0 reviews online.

drew, you'll find that there are quite a few Behringer fans here...we've heard it's one of the reason people come back here, you get ripped to pieces for choosing gear that gear snobs don't respect.

I have heard Behringer monitors and thought they were decent for the price...though I can say I have not heard that exact model. Like Behringer on the whole, it's not the best on the market, it's not the worst on the market, but I've always found them to be a decent value for the money compared to other gear in their price range.

Yep, sorry for the late reply here.

But dB speaks the truth. They are a decent entry level monitor for sure. Bang for the buck they are in the ball park with the M-Audio and a few other brands that cater to that portion of the market. Although M-Audio now would be on the upper end of the entry level stuff.

As for the sound, they are good. Not great but good and will do the job nicely. I do suggest that you listen to them and get familiar with them by playing a CD that you know exactly how it sounds. Something you know inside and out. Evey little detail of it preferably. Then you can here the difference if it doesn't sound exactly like you thin it should then that will teach you what elements of the frequency spectrum are not getting produced properly or may be being over produced like too much bass or too much high or mid.

Oh I didn't know behringer was hated here.
My mixer and monitors, and 2 of my guitar pedals are behringer lol. I have the truth mon's, but mine are b2103a or someshit like that. I've got to say, their gear works great, for me anyway. **** M-audio man lol, I bought an interface from them and it sucked, thats when i payed $50 more n got a 12 input mixer.

And it's all relative anyway dude, if you think they sound good, then they are. The most important thing is to get your instruments to sound good BEFORE hitting the mixer/monitors. Everything else can either be ignored or fixed at a later date when your knowledge of music recording grows.
Good luck man
