Really eclectic, but maybe U'll like one or two! :)

Listening through, there's some very vibey material to this soundtrack. Was this all commissioned for one piece, or is this just a scattering from a number of different projects? I ask because it was a little difficult to tell if they were meant to be of a piece or not.

I have to say, I preferred the keyboard-based compositions. They had a better ambient vibe and a better overall sound. The first of the guitar tracks I heard was "Kurczak na ostro" and the sound just sort of fell flat and the composition itself (assuming it wasn't just a transitional piece) didn't seem to take off.

Now, I have to say, I did like the second version of Lekki Przester. The vocal pad was a really nice touch and the drums were well mixed with the composition, which was an area that both the first version and Kurczak seemed off in.

I'll hit you with this first off though to be a little critical.

Your file naming convention is a bit on the troublesome side. You will find that many will get a file corruption or simply not beg able to open the files due to the funky characters and stuff you have put in your file names. I had to go in and extract each file manually as the rar simply would not play nice. Powerdesk was the only solution to extract them in one piece file by file.

Onto the music. What exactly is this a sound track for if I may ask? As stated above there didn't seem to be a cohesive theme with them. But on the other side the synth pieces all had a very good vibe to them. Again, a lot of darkness to your pieces here. But as well some repetitive theme's as well.

@ Runicen: the "scattering" impression is partly correct, for there are a few pieces out of my earlier works.

@ Noize: naming is in Polish, so if U haven't got it installed (guess so ;) there can be trouble unpacking.

Overall: the movie is about the greatest Polish documentary filmmakers, most of them working during the era of communism. The idea for the music was lots of piano - since it brings 'old camera' impression - and some dynamic guitars to illustrate the action scenes taken from their works (director insisted on guitars).
I was asked for looped tunes, so they are repetitive as You say :) Still working on a few rags and few guitar works, we'll see...

About 'dry' mix here and there - my mixmaster isn't a very reliable person so I had to do all by myself this time.

Thanks again for Your opinions friends! :)

Feel free to visit me at www.myspace.com/topti - nr 10 will be in the film too. :)
