Sep 23, 2009 08:24 pm Can you give us the specs of your PC, CPU speed and amount of RAM and the OS you are running? That will help get a grip on what might be happening. You might want to give us the model of the M-Audio sound card as well as it could be one of about 20 different cards.
Just a guess would be you are getting some hi latency. It sounds like maybe your buffer is set too high. Another idea is you have left the generic driver selected and that will do it as well. You need to select either the WDM or the ASIO driver for the interface and you will get much better performance.
