Hi, I just wonder..Why won't my m-audio fast track USB allow me to add effects to my live sounds( live chatting or even add some live reverb to my voice while talking at paltalk) And I couldn't add reverb to live streaming clips. I ask this because I used to do all these things with E-MU 0404 PCI. And I upgraded to fast track USB because it has mic preamp and USB external soundcard always faster and newer technology. When I bought it, They said it has alot of effects. I couldn't use them the same way like E-MU. I only can use them with abelton live or GT player. I tried to simply use the windows voice recorder while I adding reverb. But the play back was dry, It didn't pickup my effect that I was recording. I realize that it only allow me to use it effects just with LIVE or GT player. I'm really mad about it. I just need to add live and cool effect to my vocal online chatting. Any help or any software can help me.
Thanks

The only reason is that the fast track does not have its own built in DSP processor for effects like the E-Mu did. the salesman the told you it did should be smacked about the head with a large stick.

Your effects will be from the recording software you use now.

However you could try and port the output of the software into your voice chat software.
