Screamin Demons O.K. for Godin xtsa?

I recently purchased a Godin xtsa (been wanting one for a while now). It should arrive this week.

After playing it exhaustively at the store I have a feeling I will be replacing the stock pickups, but I am not sure which direction to go with this.

FWIW, the Godin has a maple body, mahogany neck and ebony fretboard, with a H-SC-H pup configuration.

I play country, hard rock, funk, and bits and pieces of other styles.

I am really impressed by the George Lynch Screamin demons...I like a heavy sound with plenty of sustain and ballsy pinch harmonics, but I cant lose the warm roundness of tone and individual string resonance. I am totally open to experienced advice before I throw down the cash, though.

Any suggestions or comments? Any Godin owners out there who have modded this way?

Which pup would be good for bridge vs neck position?
Lace sensor for the middle SC?

All thoughts and opinions are welcome, and thanks in advance.

Does the Godin not come with the seymour duncan humbuckers? My friend has one he plays through a 5150 (I have used it at a gig) and it is fantastic.

The GL SD's would be a good choice indeed. Not too hot of a pup, but can be pushed a bit if needed.

On the single, will you be using it for rhythm or leads most?

A Lace is nice but can be a little over bearing if you want a good rhythm out of it.
