I think Tadpui has it, I as well and who knows who else. One of the newer guys does I think.

Its a bit cumbersome, but has a few cool sounds. Not hugely tweakable but has a few odds and ends that work well.

Oh ya, and one funky thing to be aware of. It will un install itself from the registry. I've had it happen twice now. I don't know if it is simply updates that do it or what but its turned up gone about 5 times now and I've gotten pretty much to the point I'm not going to install it again if it happens next. And of course you get no support for it from them at all on it as its free and they don't give a rats arse about it.

Yeah, I installed and messed with a bunch of the sounds just to see what it's working with...

A lot of cheap sounds that I will never use, but there were definitely a few that could work. The problem is sorting through all the nonsense for the good stuff. Also I was having trouble getting any meaningful tweakyness. I turn knobs, and the sound barely changes...

Yeah, I grabbed it awhile back as well, since it's a little more lightweight than Proteus X which came with my Xboard. The default sounds are kinda "meh" So I generally load the samples that came with my keyboard. I like using the St. Thomas Strings bank because there are some good usable samples in there that I layer with other strings from other stuff I have to get a nice lush sound. So there are some usable things, but a lot of it I can get better results using something like Oatmeal or any numerous other softsynths.

coolo, ya that was my feeling. Although it makes a really good general midi playback synth. But agreed, the majority of the sounds are just so so, nothing to write home about. But could come in useful for sure for those with out a bigger need.

And ya, not very tweakable at all. Keep turning knobs and not much change at all. I found that as well. Tried to load my own samples and the result was the same. Just bunky sounding.

I can't believe they actually charged money for that at one time.
