We're recording a demo & have run into a problem....
Where do the recorded wav. tracks save to???
The path is C:/Sony/ACID but they are not there....even when I search the whole computer for .wav they are nowhere to be found...
So without being able to find the wav. files, backing up our projects is impossible.
Please, please pretty please...help!

Sony by default creates a folder in the my documents section of windoze.

Unless you changed it, which you can do on installing or even after installing it should be there.

Otherwise you can try c:programs/sony/acid then whatever directory looks like it is for files.

I had the same problem a long time ago. Open windows explorer (right click Start button and chooses "Explore") Select "Tools" dropdown, select "Folder Options", select "View" tab. Select "Show hidden files and folders", and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".

Now go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your profile)\Application Data\Sony\Acid...or something like that. The files are stored in a hidden folder called Application data. look for ACID or sony folders or something like that. Not sure about the subdirectories beyond App Data. Haven't used Acid in a while.

Good luck!

Probably best to get in the habit of changing where the files are stored for each project. easier to store and delete without effecting other songs and projects. wouldn't want to have to clear space and go through all that.

alt+enter then the audio tab. choose at the bottom. ; )
