so everything was working just fine, ive been using audition for about a month and a half, and todaywhen opening adobe audition, it said it wouldnt read my usb used to record.

so i unplugged it, restarted my computer, and i went to the Full Duplex setup and messed around with things and now its really not working!!!
sometimes an error will comeup, saying error: FF9-5-0044 [88780064] which is saying modem #1 line recording isnt working, sometimes it will show recording, such as the red bar, but i get no response when i play.

all this happend only because i was messing around with all the different things, but i need help to fix it and to be able to record again!!! please help!!!

It sounds like your interface locked up/crashed and audition defaulted to the windows audio device.

Did you goto tools->hardware setup and verify that your interface is being seen/used?

If it isn't being recognized you may need to do a complete re-install of the driver's and software.

That means cleaning out any reference to it in the registry as well.

If its throwing an error like that more then likely you have corrupted something in the settings.
