ok, so here we go ;)
i have a samson txm20 mixing board, i have a full set of samson drum set mics, and a set of rode over head condenser mics.
my question is how do i get the sound from my mixer to the computer, is there a cord i need to pick up? or anything along those lines? any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

At the very simplest, you need a cord to go from the main outs of your mixer to the line in on your sound card. But you'll hate that setup very soon!

To do it right, you'll want to take individual channel outputs and run each one into a separate input of a multi-channel audio interface.

Tell us a little bit more about wht you have for a computer/equipment and also what kind of results you're trying to achieve, and we'll take 'er from there.

Oh, and welcome to HRC!
