I am looking for a top high end quality recording studio reverb similar effect as used in the major studios of the 60's/70's which I guess was plate. At present I'm using the Lexicon package as incorporated in Sonar and am trying CSR which is better however is there a really top high end reverb I can use in conjunction with Sonar i.e. VST. It would be used for purely instrumental work.

May 11, 2009 06:04 pm What do you mean? I just downloaded it.
You can hit the "click" link or click inside the snapshot window, both worked for me.

May 11, 2009 06:41 pm Which version of Sonar are you using? The Lexicon Pantheon Reverb is one of the best reverb pluggin's out there.
There is also the Perfect Space convolution reverb that uses wav forms to simulate just about any space you can imagine.
I use the Plate in the Pantheon fairly often with great success.
May 12, 2009 05:01 am Hi Thanks for replys....I.m using sonar 5 but I have to say i think the Sonitus reverb sounds better than the Lexican Pantheon in my opinion, I think the Lexican has a somewhat "springy" tinny sound or is it the way I'm using it????
When I hit the Bootsy click download(s)
all I get are a list of presets titles 50 100 etc..there's no programe and also it says tick an acceptance box before downloading..its not there!!Also theres no Click in the snapshot window (I am in UK maybe thats the problem?)
May 12, 2009 05:41 am Forget the second part of the last post
i found the download...it had been sent
to a strange folder in my directory and was hidden all along..I placed it in sonar and am about to try it out...many thanks for the link

May 12, 2009 09:18 pm cloudhop, it could be that your not getting it set up properly. I've been using the Pantheon reverb since it first came out. Granted, its not always the perfect reverb and my only go to reverb. But it can be when you take the time to tweak it one of the best DSP reverbs out there. And I own some that cost much more then that would sell for if it were not included in Sonar.
Are you using the presets or do you dig in deeper to adjust its tonality and such.
And I don't remember if Perfect Space was included in 5, that was a long time ago. Are you using Producer Edition or the Studio version? I'll assume PE since I do believe Pantheon was only included in that edition, but I could be wrong.

May 13, 2009 06:00 am I'm happy with all the reverb settings etc that I get off the TonePort for my guitars but I'd like to have a nice Reverb that I can fiddle with easily in REAPER. Anyone know if this can be done? Is there a good reverb around for REAPER? The one that it comes with is OK but not that great. How would I go about adding it in?
Really I want to use it for my drum loops and they often don't sound quite live enough for me. Saying that I think i have done a decent job on my two recordings on here but I'm still not happy with the sound exactly.
May 13, 2009 03:44 pm You know I never tried to edit the Pantheon settings, i will see if its possible in Sonar 5, meantime i downloaded Bootsy epic verb and must say am delighted with this, this is more like what I'm looking for and cannot believe its a freebie so top marks to it and this forum for getting me there.

May 13, 2009 05:41 pm Of all the reviews I have read everybody thinks bootsy plugs are glorious and are amazed they are free.
He does have some other .vst FX there which all seem to get similar reviews.
In short, I downloaded all of them and am just waiting to try em out. I would suggest the same, maybe they won't be free one day :)
Really glad it worked out for you.
