NEED HELP WITH CUBASE LE4

Hi All,im quite new to all this but im tryin to produce hip hop beats on cubase LE4,it came free with my midi so thought id try it before investing in something more expensive.

Anyway,can someone tell me how to get and use more vst instruments?the instructions that come with cubase arent exactly helpful for a complete novice like me.

when you get new vst instruments cubase should pick it up and you just go to "add track" and choose "instrument track" and you'lll get a choice of what you have in there.

alternatively, go to "devices" along the top tool bar and choose vst instruments and load whatever one you want.

not sure what, if any, free ones there are out there, but when you purchase for instance drum software, once you install it, Cubase should pick it up and you'll see it there as a choice in your vst instruments when you go to load one.

by any chance do you or anyone else know of anywhere i can get decet vst instruments as cheap as possible?im just trying to become fluent with te software beforei start investing any more money.

You can go to KVR and there are porobably over 1000 free instruments and even more effects for free.

Its the biggest source on the web for finding that stuff.
