Has anybody ever made one of these? I'm curious to how well they work. My room sounds terrible and the mic tends to pick up computer noise so I am hoping that this might improve upon matters. I'd probably want to modify it to fit on a mic stand or maybe hang it on the wall.

I probably just need to go ahead and build some of these or some bass traps anyway.
Apr 03, 2009 02:07 pm After I move up to Coralville, IA, I think I'm gonna build me some of those. Me and Heather will probably be moving around until she finally lands tenure somewhere. (she's a post-doc research fellowship or associate...something... at UIowa right now)
Anyway, what with the potential for moving around a lot, I think those would come in pretty handy.
Also, I hate these moments of "why the hell did I never think of something like that?"
