Bully Beatdown on MTV

I was channel surfing and almost never stop on MTV...yesterday I saw a show called Bully Beatdown that I had to watch.

The premise:

Somebody that has been bullied by somebody goes to the host of the show explains the deal. The host is an MMA trainer and promoter. They go to the bully and offer him $10,000 to step in the cage and pick on someone their own size. One of the hosts fighters.

The fight:

It consists of two rounds (three minutes I believe), the first round grappling the second kickboxing.

In the grappling round the bully starts with 5k, for every time the bully taps out 1k goes to the bullied person.

The in kickboxing round, if there is a KO or ref stoppage the bully looses all 5k to the bullied.

The episodes I saw had one little brother that totally got the **** kicked out of him by his brother, the brother and family thought it was funny and did nothing, it got to the point where the kid never wanted to go home.

The bully agreed to do the fight and lost 8k to the victim...the bully got 2k

ANother was a jerk roommate that stood 6' 7" and bullied his roommates bad, wrecked their cars, had big parties, wouldn't pay rent...he stepped in the cage, his opponenebnt was Michael Westbrook of NFL fame. I didn't know this, but Westbrook is a black belt in TKD and a brown belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu...he kicked that bullies *** BAD! The bully lost 9 or the 10k...

Awesome funny show.

No **** Michael Westbrook? That guy is a badass on the gridiron, I'd hate to tangle with him. He's one of the most physically fit players in the game. He's up there with TO in terms of sheer muscle definition, although he's shorter and stockier.

As much as I hate TO, he's pretty damn near the perfect image of physical fitness. His arms have to be some of the strongest-looking around. Thomas Jones (RB - Jets) is another NFL guy with those insane arms. I wouldn't be able to strip the ball away from either of those guys, even with jaws of life.

Anyways...I had to veer the thread towards football. I'm in severe football withdrawl mode here. A month to go before the draft, and the Chiefs' new front office is so tight-lipped, they make the CIA look like TMZ. New GM, new head coach, new franchise QB, new defensive staff, mostly new offensive staff, even a new defensive scheme (moving to a 3-4 or 3-4/4-3 hybrid from Herm's not-so-successful attempt at the "Tampa 2" 4-3 scheme).

I'm in such withdrawl that I've been regularly participating in Chiefs blog sites. I know, that's low!

Yeah, I am kind of in withdrawal too...

Michael Westbrook is a beast, the guy he was against was 6' 7" (Westbrook being 6' 3") and that dude didn't have a CHANCE. In a 3 minute round Westbrook tapped him out 4 times! In the kicboxing round, the guy gave up in less than a minute, Westbrook just destroyed him, I don't think the guy landed a single punch...and the "bullies" even wear headgear...

In the cage Westbrooks was just wearing those vale tudo shorts, and yeah, that guy is built like the proverbial brick **** house.

I guess one benefit of being a Packer fan is that there's not much to feel withdrawl from... :-(
