Or at least another attempt at it. This is a remix I threw together last night, and spent the better part of the evening polishing it a bit. Crystalized Zebetite. Better known as Brinstar Red Soil Swampy Area. Gotta <3 the tunes from Metroid. ;)
I've got it up on here as well as t61. I'm thinking I'll throw in some synth pads to try to make the texture a little more lush, but keep them on the down low. I don't wanna get things too cluttered in there hehe.

Mar 28, 2009 01:47 pm I liked it. Nice choice of sounds for sure. An interesting movement that doesn't get stale at all. That ones goin in the play list here for sure.

Mar 28, 2009 08:14 pm Apparently you're not the only one. Within the last 24hr, I've gained 2 listeners, and quite a few new faces "hearting" I'm itching for the 24hr period to be up over on t61 so I can see how many hits it's gotten so far lol.
Also, off topic but:

I shouldn't be surprised, but jeez that's a pretty big name to grace the 61.

Mar 28, 2009 09:30 pm Oh ya, I suppose I should go bump it on t61 shouldn't I?
And ya, he's been there for awhile with maybe one or two tracks up. Just started uploading some of the remixed bits from Ghost's and others. Its good stuff. But I'm in the underground so I get to hear all that before it ever makes it to the mainstream public. Some cool stuff being remixed all the time there.

Mar 29, 2009 03:48 pm Okay, updated the original and added some pads to help flesh out the cello/low end texture. I really like the sound on it now.
I also uploaded an Alternate version with an added synth bassline. Alternate because I'm not sure if it's too cluttered sounding or not. There's definitely a lot of stuff going on at once in spots.
Enjoy!

Mar 29, 2009 06:32 pm The updated version sounds pretty cool now. It didn't suck before though either. I like the changes so far. am diving right off into the bass version now.
I'm kinda liken the bass version. I don't find it too cluttered at all really. A tiny bit busy, but not cluttered at all. I like the sound you have used as well for the bass synth. It has different enough tone to keep itself separated in the mix.
Either way, I like both version's.
