I'm using Sony Acid Music Studio 6 and I can't seem to render one of my songs. I've recorded 4 songs and the first three rendered just fine. But this one song does not want to render. When I tell it to render the song it takes forever (about 45 min.) But when I went to play it back all I got was silence. My other songs are longer and bigger yet they rendered in no time (about 30 sec.) and play back fine. Am I missing something?

Feb 26, 2009 11:28 am There could be a VST plugin that you're using on this one song that you're not using on the others. Maybe its causing problems during the mixdown. Will your track mix down if you don't mix down the automation/effects with it? That's at least narrow down what's causing the problem.
Feb 26, 2009 11:51 am I bypassed all effects and still get the same problem. I'm not using any more added effects than what I used in the other three songs. All tracks are wav. files. I've never had this problem before.
Feb 26, 2009 11:55 am Try removing one track at a time from the mix and rendering, perhaps there is some corruption or something peculiar with a given track...
