pretty new piece of kit, i know alot of ppl DESPISE the microKorg but aside from that, it says it has Midi In/Out not thru, will this allow the user to hook up a midi controller like the M-Audio AXIOM to control the sounds in it with a full sized full keyed keyboard?

and does anyone know to wat extent the editing software will allow users to create samples and use their own sounds?

im looking to replace a laptop for live use

Well the MicroKorg is not a sampler really. The program you get is for deep editing of the sounds that the thing can make on its own. It is also a vocoder.

But yes, you can control it with a full size keyboard if you wish as if it were a sound module.
