how do i get adam d style of mastering.i mean what are his signature methods.can any body figure out?

If it means anything, the only "signature methods" *any* mastering engineer has comes from his ears. How anyone would get "that sound" (whatever "that sound" means at any given time) is up to the mix he's presented with.

Feb 01, 2009 02:06 pm Start with recording the guitars and bass as best you can.
The heavy of that sound is in the layering they use of the instruments. Its not all in the mixing or finishing of the product that account's for the sound.
So many new recordist's thing that it is all magin in the mastering or using a specific effect on a given track.
Partly it is, but mostly it is getting the sound good to start with.
