Hey,
What do you guys think about the Truth Studio Monitors? Anybody ever use `em before?
They cost a little more than the M-Audio, but its Behringer so they shouldn`t be that bad. At least I wouldn`t think so.

Have not used them. I did however take a quick listen to a pair. They were comparable to the Mackie unit's. A little bit of colour but not much. I think the unit's have some damping and boost control for adjusting to the listening room. they have pretty large amp's in them, so under pwered they are not. They also hae pretty good overload protection, in case you turn em up to loud. I geuss I would say, go have a listen and judge for yourself.

I will say though that Berhinger make's some very good and dependable gear, so I would imagine, these would be no differant.

Man, I was just at Mars Music tonight and I was asking the guy if they carried those Behringer monitors and he said that there was a huge back-order on them because Mackie and Behringer are going at it because Mackie says Behringer is copying their design.

I`ve heard that they do do a lot of copying before. (Maybe thats why they can sell their stuff so cheap; they save money by not doing any designing) :)

He said that Behringer had promised a date back in November to ship out more units, but they haven`t done it yet.

Geez, just when I thought I had found the perfect monitor for me...(sigh)

Oh well,
Mitch

Yeah, the only thing is, is that I`m scared of their shipping prices.
Plus I don`t have a credit card.

Right now MF is offering free shipping on orders over $299.

And I think you can use a Debit card.

But I am not sure.
