k, I usually do hip hop but now I'm taking on techno. Auto tune is cool and I use FL Studio 7. Is there anything else recommended to make better mixes?

Jan 14, 2009 09:48 am Yeah, that's a pretty wide question you're asking there. You're going to have to narrow down your question quite a bit before you can get any really helpful tips.
So you're using FL7 Studio. What other gear do you have? You haven't filled your your gear in your profile bio.
What are you aiming for as far as a finished product: a scratch pad to jot down ideas, demos to give to friends and family, demos to give to radio stations and/or record labels, or polished tracks for radio play?

Jan 14, 2009 03:49 pm Double the tempo. Kick on every down beat. Snare on every 2nd and 4th downbeat. 909 cymbal on the syncopated beat or up beat.
PJK you are hilarious for that one.
