A while back i bought a matched pair of RODE NT5's and never have been very happy with them. They are to harsh on the high-end for me.
I was wondering if anybody had a suggestion for a pair of SDC that are well suited for DRUM OVERHEADS and ACoustic Guitars.
any suggestions?
price range is 500-700 USD

I've read good things about the Samson C02's and you can get a pair for around 140. the Audio Technica AT3031 is an alright mic 170 for one. audio Technica AT4041 pair 499 (I've never had any regrets with AT mic's) the Sennheiser e614 works well on over heads too around 220 a piece. as far as guitar goes any of these should work but the big guy out of the group is probably the AKG C 451 a bit of a staple for acoustic guitar around 580 new .
