I run two heads and want a stereo delay, but I want to be able to modulate the delays with an exterior effect, much like the Moog delay pedal. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Dec 15, 2008 05:11 pm Well, what I'm wanting is something that effects the delays only. Like with the MoogerFooger 104, the pedal itself has an effects loop so you can modulate the delays with a distortion pedal, another, delay, chorus, etc. Anything with a TS I/0. There is a Keeley mod for a DD-3 to do this, but I'd like to have a stereo in and analog with true ByPass. I might just have to break down and get the Moog. But, it's spensive!

Dec 15, 2008 10:04 pm The Moog is probably the best of the few that are capable of that. I don't remember the others at the moment, but they are all up there price wise.
Dec 15, 2008 11:34 pm Hmmm... Yeah, I have noticed that. Lol. The only thing I don't like about the Moog is it's not stereo. :(

Dec 21, 2008 01:38 am Well, I guess the ML2 isn't going to work. I recently got a FullTone ChoralFlange and need stereo in as well as stereo out... Might have to settle for digital. :(

Dec 21, 2008 03:27 pm I guess I don't understand your setup and why you need a stereo pedal when you have 2 heads but only 1 cab.
Dec 21, 2008 03:56 pm I haven't updated yet. Haha...
I will have an Orange Cab in a few days. I can't wait. :)

got a real nice edege to em that i like.
be great for recording.
Dec 21, 2008 09:35 pm Yeap. Haha. I will have a Johnson head and cab for my right channel and a Marshall JVM and Orange Cab for my left channel. All run in stereo - Delay, Chorus, and Flange. It'll be sweet!! :) With a drop G 7 string and a funky rhythm section, it'll be EPIC. Haha.

Dec 22, 2008 03:55 am actually, the new song i recorded in my profile has a tiny terror(orange) in it as well as a Peavey Transtube.
even though the tiny terror is small it still came out quite good and tubey.

Dec 22, 2008 01:29 pm Rock on brotha! That was a good tune! The drums were a bit small for the driving(ness?) of the song, but not bad brotha!

Dec 22, 2008 06:47 pm cheers man.
when you say small, do you mean whats bein played or the sound?
i used dfh. to be honest i find it a little hard to get the sound thick using it.
starting to use the rock kit now so should be more of a real sounding kit.
imo they made dfh too clean and thin sounding.
