my problem is the incredibly loud distorted static coming from my headphones/speakers when I press the record button in Adobe Audition 1.5
I can play instrumentals just fine when I import them but as soon as I try to record vocals the loud static comes outta my headphones/speakers
my mic and speakers are hooked up to a Lambda/lexicon mixer that I got when I purchased Cubase4
and I believe the sound card on the pc is from realtek
I am sure that my mixer is installed properly but I'm not sure if the device orders/properties of my Adobe Audition 1.5 are correct
please help!!!!!!

Dec 06, 2008 04:31 pm dang man that actually makes alot of sense and explains alot, they guy who owns the equipment has his original speakers hooked up to the pc and his new speakers hooked up to the lambda at the same time
seems like when we record its using the realtek soundcard and the lambda simultaneously.....
maybe if I uninstall the realtek and use only the lambda everything will work fine.. thanks alot for the help
