Hi All,

I'm wanting to get a recording/mixing device to use for some home recording - will mainly be for guitar / vocals but also some dance tune stuff.

Dont have that much to spend (100-200).

so far have seen things like the Belkin tuneStudio and the Alesis iMultimix, but not sure what would be best or what else is out there!

Anyone got any words of advise?

Thanks!

Lewis

Why not get something like a Line 6 UX2 or UB37 and do your mixing in the software on your computer?

Is there a specific reason you need a mixing device outside the PC?

I have the Alesis multimix 8 ($150) and I like it just fine.

hi guys,

Thanks for you replies!

No real reason for having the mixing device outside the PC - just nice having physical buttons / switches!

The Line 6 UX2 looks interesting, good price and sounds like it will handle what I'm trying to do.

I cant find any info on the UB37 though - can you provide any links to it?>

Thanks again

I think he meant to write the KB37, it is simply the UX2 with a 37 key midi controller.
