Just wanted to say hi. I've really enjoyed perusing this board in the last few days, and the collective knowledge here is definitely impressive. I have a feeling that I'll be doing lots of reading here in the coming months as I begin attempting to record at home.

And you have great taste in bulletin board software! None of that EZboard crap here :)

I must say that I'm very impressed with the user submitted music here. It's very encouraging to hear how good your stuff sounds knowing that it was all done in your bedrooms and living rooms. This is the way that music was meant to be shared, straight from the artist to the listener.

Thanks, I wrote this message board myself :-)

Glad you digging the site, welcome to the community! We'd love to hear some of your stuff.

Wrote it yourself!?! Wow, gj. It's reminiscent of InfoPop, which is a good thing IMO.

As soon as I record some stuff, I'll be sure to let you hear it! Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a PC microphone until wifey OKs the purchase of a better one, so you probably won't want to hear anything of mine for a while :)

InfoPop? What is that? Never heard of it...but hey, if being like it is good, that's cool with me. And yes, I wrote the forum and every other thing on this site, it's one large, integrated web-application...one that I am quite proud of to tell you the truth :-) Glad ya dig it.

And hey, post your tunes anyway, it's not the quality, it's the music.

Yup, PHP scripting (with large amount of JavaScript and CSS, with all data stored in a MySQL database, on a Linux Redhat server running Apache web server software.
