Help with Behringer UCA202 please?

Hi, I'm having some trouble with my Behringer UCA202 and was hoping someone may be able to help.

I have been using it with Kristal for a few weeks and it has been working fine, but then I had a problem with my computer and had to do a pc recovery, I reloaded the software but it wont seem to work as it did before. Before when I clicked on the track and chose where I wanted to record from, there was a option of conexant amc audio and one which said behringer usb or something and I used that one. Now it says USB audio codec instead and although it will record, it doesn't let you click the monitor button. You can use the monitor on the actual uca202 so you can hear whats recording, but when you try and record your second track you get the first track playing out of the normal headphone channel on my laptop and not coming through the uca202. Which basically makes recording impossible...

I am not at all technical, so if anyone could give me any advice I would very much appreciate it (the simpler you can explain things the better!). Thanks alot, Mike.
