So I started a band with some guys from work, and we just had our 2nd practice last night and did a quick demo of 2 songs.
The first, 23 Years (new) is the finished version of the 23 Years chorus I put up a little while ago.
The 2nd is something I wrote last year and never bothered to record.
Neither one has vocals yet, but hey, it was only our 2nd practice.
What do you guys think?

23 years is cool and drives along great. I loved the guitar part for sure and the drummer sound like he has his **** together. I guess I would like to hear the bass hitting a little harder in the mix and it would be pretty tight. I thought I heard maybe a little ring on the toms but my heads a bit plugged up so I might not have either. Either way I liked the tune and the changes it had going on in it.
New Song, I liked this as well. The bass was a bit better in this one as well. Could maybe still use a bit of attack on it though but that might just be my head being plugged up as well. Didn't hear any tom ring on this one though so who knows. I really like the guitar sound you are getting though fro sure. Tight and crisp.
But like you said, it was only the second practice. I'm guessing things will only go up from here.
