I currently am using Cubase LE4 and I'm wondering how it is different from Cubase 4 and if it's really worth the money.

i just got C4 a month ago but i had le4 for about a year first.
man seriously, you can record just as good stuff on either. i only bought C4 coz it had aux tracks on its instrument tracks which i needed to run EZDrummers multi channel.
C4 has some awsome stuff though, but i still think apart from the EZDrummer thing, it was pre mature.
obviously its gonna sound better, but one needs to know "how" to use the stuff on it to get that.

yea, actually I'm looking at Superior Drummer, the newer version of EZDrummer. So do you think it was worth the $400 or whatever it is to upgrade to C4. I'm basically starting a studio from scratch right now and so I need every penny I can get my hands on.

it was in the sense that now i have access to the multi channel of EZDrummer.
But upgrading anything doesnt necessarily make your stuff sound any better. the fact remains, you can have all the upgrade you want, but if you use LE4 to only half its capacity then you're only gonna get to that level with any program.

if you are looking at learning the whole program in time, completely, then yeah, go it.

i would upgrade any guitar amps, guitars (pick ups) and mics before i did a program. thats where the quality is IMO.
