Need some of those good ears to listen and tell me which mix sounds better. I been beating my head against the wall with this remix. Each was finalized with different plugins. Its an older cover I did and I have been messing with it for a few days now. But I am trying some new plugins and I need someone else to give opinions on the one that sounds better. I have my favorite (well they all stink). Let me know yours. The last two I didnt trim and fade the end, so there is a bunch of musical rambling. They are a little bit hotter too. Dont let the loudness sway you. I need the one that sounds best. If the majority like the one I like, then I must be heading in the right direction. Thanks

Jul 22, 2008 01:25 am Redid the three again. They were all lacking low end in my opinion. Someone chime in. I downloaded Har-Bal and Im giving it a try. I know alot of people say its crap and some like it. I picked a crappy song to try it with. If it helps the tune then its worth it. See if you can guess which one, I used it on. I did the quicky so called fix on it. Im gonna explore the tutorial tomorrow. Let me know which one stinks the least. I think it helped but then again I was the one using it. I know its there.

Jul 22, 2008 04:31 am mmm, im liking the first one better, i think the guitar sits out nicer with a better tone overall.
I think the kick is a tad clicky for the style, needs a bit more roundness.
But hey it is always and ever only a matter of taste there.
Oh yeah.... sounds sweet by the way.
Jul 22, 2008 06:00 pm Interesting !!!! Thanks for the reply. I know the overal tracks are not very good. Just eq wise which comes across better than the others.

Jul 22, 2008 06:35 pm I listened to them last night and again just now and #1 is the better one for me.
Something else I noticed is that the drums sound like they are placed higher (in a vertical direction) than the rest of the instruments. It may be my headphones, but I thought I'd mention it.
