Hello:
Im brand new to all this. I just got Acid music studio 7 and want to plug my guitar into it. The manual say: "simply plug your guitar in to the soundcard and play" Ya right. Do I need a 1/4 inch adaptor to 1/8 in adaptor or a usb type adaptor? I went down to the local guitar shop and they looked at me like I was speaking Russian. Please be specific, as I said Im new to all this.
While Im at it, does any one know were a good instrutional website on how to actually use this program? I swear its written in Russian. Im banging buttons like a video game yet I have yet to figure out how to record 2 tracks and a drum beat.
Thanks for helping a novice.

the guitar would be best run thru a preamp before being plugged into the sound card, but still, the cord would need 1/4" on at least the end that goes into the guitar, the other end would be whatever size the card accepts.

Google "Acid Tutorials" to find some lessons...tho that query may bring back some interesting, non-tutorial type results...

Have a look on the Sony site as well for some tutorials on Acid. They do have some in a special section there. Not sure exactly were. If I get a little time I'll have a look for the link.

There are a few Acid users here as well that might pop in.
