i was wondering if one of those would work good for recording... right now im using a dtxplorer with battery 3 and im very unhappy with the dtxplorer but battery 3 is good. im planning on selling the dtxplorer or trying to get a refund and using the money to buy a real drum set. i dont have much space and sound is an issue so i was wondering how much quieter are the traps flat drum sets than a normal drum set and will it sound good for recording? could i do enough tweaking to it after tracking to make it sound decent?

No idea on the traps, I used to have some arbiter flats and they were far from quiet. They look almost identical so I would assume they will sound similar also. The only thing that was not normal volume on the arbiters was the kick. Very audible but not as loud as a standard kit.
