"high tuning"

Martin makes a set of High Tuning acoustic strings. The 3rd thru 6th strings are tuned an octave high. I tried this once by using just the octave strings from a 12 string set, unaware that it's a common practice in the industry. I recently found out that the late, great Dan Fogelberg used this tuning alot. ("Oh, that's why my Martin doesn't sound like his") Anyway, just wondering who's familiar with it and what brands other than Martin, offer these High Tuning sets. Thanx in advance for input.

It's called "angel hair" like the pasta. lol. It's also common practice to mic the strings on a Fender Strat or Tele and add those to the mix. There's a lot of those "secrets" out there now.
