hello,
i have this very frustrating problem.
ive hooked up the midi keyboard to the computer fine. its working. cubase is good. the little levels on MidiIn Active is flashing and so are the levels on the track i go to record.
then i click the record button on the track and monitor buitton - if i play it mnakes the sounds and the blue bars jump etc.. then the second i hit record, the clicking metronome starts and the blue bars stop and no sound comes out when i play on keyboard..... but the other meter - midiin active flashes still... but no dots go on those color bands..
can anyone help me please?

Mar 30, 2008 12:29 am There are some presets buried in preferences somewhere. One of the preferences has to do with how that monitor button works. You might want to look in preferences and see how it is set up.

fiddled with the midi presets. and it was blocking it or something
