Garageband question

So, I've been using garageband (and I LOVE it) but I have one problem that I was hoping someone on here could help me with. I think there is a GB user or 2 on here somewhere...
I'm using a USB keyboard to record some organ parts over a song I've been working on, and even with the organ turned all the way up, I can't hear it at all. I actually have to turn everything else almost completely down in order to get a good mix. Am I doing something wrong or are the software tracks usually this quiet?

Mar 26, 2008 08:27 pm Johnny, you need to make sure as hueseph stated that the midi channel volume is turned up as well. That will tell the synth what to do for volume.
And no, software tracks are never that quiet here.
