I can't really comment on the mix from here at work, but with reguards to the 'punch' you're looking for: This may lie in freeing-up a little space just before it, and adding some subtle dynamics to that space . Instead of the snare-roll, or the vox being the 'break-point' just before the chorus, maybe have things dynamicly taper-off a couple of measures before that break, and then SLAM into it .

It sounds good. Really clean audio.

There are a few missed hits on the drums, but a normal listener probably wouldn't pick up on it. The vocal could stand out a little more, especially in the chorus sections. Maybe try a small, subtle delay <30ms. I'd make the bass a little more prominent in the mix as well. Once the guitars kick in they seem to take the song over. Sidechaining is your friend :)

To bring the verse and the chorus together, I'd put a reverse swell-type build in there with a 1 second pause before it slams into the chorus, subtly, but noticeably.

The band is good, I dig it.

Yep, the comments above are good ones. The bass would benefit from a little more compression which will help it punch as you stated.

The vox during the chorus could come out above the guitars a little more, again a little compression and finding a space in the EQ to give them room from the guitars would help there a great deal.

Otherwise I as well like the band, pretty good sound and tightly played.

I tune down down...

IMO, turn down the guitars in the chorus and def. sidechain the bass drum and bass guitar because you can barely hear the bass drum. And with that type of high energy music, you need a good driving beat. If you turn down the guitars and allow the transients of the percussive instruments cut through, it will give it more punch. Also, allow a bit longer attack time on the compressions for more initial "attack" of the instrument to come through. Pick noise is dreaded sometimes, but also allows some good tone with "punch."
