Whats up. I'm new here. Here's my situation.
Warning: Vista User
I'm running a mic into my Behringer Ultragain Pro-8 Digital A/D & D/a Converter Model ADA8000 (standard litepipe) and running out into my Creative SB X-Fi soundcard's line-in. I have a toslink going from the litepipe's in to its own out as a signal workaround. I am trying to use this all to record into Adobe Audition 3.0. I am a bit confused as to what settings need to be in place in Audition as far as Audio Hardware Setup in the program. Any help is appreciated.

Mar 20, 2008 11:53 am Well, I am unsure if the creative cards have ASIO drivers, but I almost think they do.
If everything is configured correctly I would think you go to "audio hardware setup" in audition and select "Creative Asio". I am unsure if the creative card can split your lightpipe signal into 8 channels, but if it can then you should be able to select Mono 1-8 on your track inputs.
I would just try selecting all the different creative devices under the hardware setup, see if any of them give you more than a couple inputs in the list that is shown right below the hardware you have selected.
I can take some screenshots when I get home if you are still having trouble.
