Hey,

I have a mate who has somehow rewired the drum machine in Reason to record straight into Cubase.. does anyone know how to do this?

Also, im having problems exporting the audio as MP3 - ive got settings 44.1khz, 116bits, on stereo, basically CD standard, but it wont export..it just says export failed! I thought it might be because its potentially a trial version (Cubase says "H20 Try Before Buy" when i load it) but surely if that was the reason itd have some jargon about how i have to buy the full product to use this feature?

Ummm, H2O is a software piracy group. If Cubase has that H2O banner upon startup then you have a cracked version of Cubase.

export i dunno, but to rewire you just have to click on reason in one of the dropdown menus in cubase...i think its devices > reason. Just remember to open cubase first, then reason, then devices > reason to rewire. Select the tracks you need, adjust inputs/outputs of tracks if you need to, and voila!

Now if you had the manual, you would know wouldn't you? As it is I generally make a practice of not helping pirates. I paid for my software. Thousands of dollars at this point. I figure you helped yourself to the software so help yourself to figure it out.

All that being said, it is a matter of Rewire and the sequence that you start things up and that's all that I will say.
