Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd,
Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

Cytgan:
Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

OK, I'll play...

I recognized the Welsh flag, so I ran your post through a Welsh to English translator. This is what it says:

Wales Forever!

He is being old country me fathers dearly I , Country bards I go singers , famous he honor You go brave warriors , patriots while mâd , Over freedom they lost them blood. wounds Country , Country , favorable I am being I ' ores country , While sea crookedly wall I ' group pure dear country , He may he be I ' group heniaith last. Old she persuading mountainous , paradise the bard , Each valley , each cliff , I ' ores sight who is he plows Through feel patriotic , so charming is that's for sure You go brooks , rivers , I. If he forced the hollies me country we are being you go one turned , He is being old language the Welshmen so live with ever , We one hindered he drives poetic gift with hideous rain treason , I do harp melodious me country.

Or something like that!

ha ha,

In case you are wondering. We beat France yesterday which means we won the Rugby Six Nations championship with a Grand Slam! A grand slam is when you manage to win the tournament without loosing a game, so we beat England, Scotland, Italy, Ireland and France with out conceeding a game. Marvellous. Its pretty rare for a team to win with a Grand Slam, normally, even a good team will slip up once! We got the Grand Slam in '05 aswell, we have a good team at the moment.

I don't know if you get much Rugby in The States but if you do you should try and catch a game.

The printed stuff above is the Welsh National Anthem.

I was very, very drunk yesterday.

Wales beat France! Pah!

*World Cup Flashback*.... Ran into the streets gloating when England beat Australia, then the Mother-****ing french beat us :-(. Best part of the world cup was when Chabal got decked by one of the Argentinia players.

Congrats on the win though, heres to Wales!

Everyone love to beat the Aussies though dont they! Its 'cos they can be such arrogant arseholes. The Saffers are a bit like that too.

I dont mind the French. I think Chabal is quite cool! He's certainly weird

Chabal's cool alright, but the French use him as an impact player, and it was great when they brought him on in the first quarter and he got decked haha.

Respect to SA though, bloody good team. Actually really impressed with Wales in the last couple of years as well. You coming to NZ for the next WC?

I'll never make it to NZ, I'd love to, I really want to get there one day but @ll never make it for the WC.

So you are from NZ then? Now you have a great Rugby history. You've always got equally good players to replace players, you could play a 2nd 15 and not be much worse off than a 1st 15.

Saying that, we are good like that at the moment. We have the players available to make worthwhile changes for the first time I can remember,

Yea man, its a nice place, and everybody loves their rugby. But somehow we loose to the french :-(! Also, the Aussies took Robbie Deans (Canterbury Crusaders, and should have been next ab's coach), pisses me off.

The next Wales vs. NZ test will be a doozy, especially since you knocked of England and France! What were the scores?

Cant remember the scores off the top of my head. The BBC website will have them and match reports if you are interested though.

The England match was a tight one. We were loosing after the first half but came back. The French game was tight on on points for the first half with the French having lots of possesion but we had all the territory, closing them down in their own half. They only put 3 penalites on them, 10 mins into the 2nd half we started scoring tries (Both converted). Then it was all over.

England:
Six Nations Grand Slam (2003),
Five Nations Grand Slam (1913, 1914, 1921, 1923, 1924, 1928, 1957, 1980, 1991, 1992 & 1995),

Not taking anything away from our leek eating brethren, though. Great job. I think the Welsh team have their eyes on the Springboks next, right.

Indeed we do.

Yeah the GS is pretty rare. In a tournament that has been going for 130-140 years the grand slam has only been won on about 30 occasions. England outscoring Wales by two - you pompous oppresive invaders!

Haha aggreed JDOD. Hell I'd support the French before I supported the english :p.

Hey TC, didn't know you played. Lock for me as well! Left or right? I still play, waiting for the next season. Eyeing up the number 6 jersey though....

I'll look up the scores.

I played inside centre for a steel works in Port Talbot in South Wales. Was a rough game there. We used to actually practice stamping and taking a stamp in training! If the union saw us doing that, they'd probably have shut the club!

Sweet, I'd love to get out in the backs one day, get some ball time haha.

We stomp in New Zealand (at least I think we still do). The first game I played for a Aus team, I stomped one of the props. Coach subs me, 'What are you doing?! You can't do that in Aus!'

I played a LOOOOONG time ago. Left side, second row.

Played flanker one game. Frightened the heck out of me. Too close to the ground for comfort.

We had a couple of big props and a tiny hooker (oo-er!) who basically hung there between the props (feet didn't touch the ground). As soon as the scrum merged he would swing forwards and kick the crap out of the other team's hooker. Our number 8 was enormous. Really, for our age and size he was possibly twice the size of everyone else. We'd win the scrum (always - big number 8) and the scrum-half would simply hand it to the number 8. He'd take off with five opposing players hanging off him. If he got into any difficulty, we (the forwards) would just push him. No need for a maul. Good times.

Stomp? We did that, yeah. But it was very much part of the game we played (London Schools, and we were the most hated team. That reputation the school had carried for years, it wasn't just us).
