ok so i dont know much about starting a studio but i got mmy room and i got my booth...
i have a us 122 soundcard,a audio technica 4040...m audio studio pro 3 monitors and a pc with 3 gig ram,qaud 9500 processor and 500 gig hardrive...
is there anything else imma need?i mean i gett really creisp clean qaulity but i wanna get the best i can...although im not rich i do have a couple dollars to spend so any help or tips would be apreciated

Mar 08, 2008 05:23 pm Setup looks pretty good. Your US122 has mic preamps built in, so you won't need a mixer.
What are you recording?
Do you have any software for recording?

Mar 09, 2008 01:29 pm You're good to go. My advice would be to start recording and see how it goes. If you run into any issues, then see what else you need to take care of them. Most of us make additions and improvements based on need, but you'll never know what you need until you actually get into the studio and start recording.
