I dont know whether this is a correct forum or not. But please give me some advices

I am thinking of building a homestudio in my room. However, as there are some windows(which can be opened), some noise from vehicles maybe recorded though I close my windows tightly.

Is there any way to solve this problem? (Beside building a wall next to the windows) Thanks all~

you could try some rigid fiberglass (wrapped, of course). Make sure it's tight in the opening, as sound is like water, any small opening will let it through.

Probably won't help a bunch though. But it's worth a try if you have some around.

You can look into a product from Auralex called Sheet Block. It pretty much stops most stuff dead. But you need to make sure as pjk stated that it is done with a tight fit. I use it for damping in my ceiling and air ducting.
