Hi, i'd like to record MIDI data from my Dtxplorer. I've got a MIDI to USB interface but i'm not sure what software i need. I don't need to do anything fancy. Could someone recommend some software, and how to use it?!
thanks

Jun 06, 2008 05:08 pm Simply plug the midi out from the DT into the midi in on a midi interface hooked up to your PC. Then start whatever software you are using and assign the midi track to record and a drum synth track to play it back and your all good.
Dec 30, 2010 01:35 am I'm having a problem that relates to this. I'm trying to make midi recordings using a Dtxplorer and midi cable interface. The programs I am running it through are Ezdrummer and Garageband. Up until yesterday it was running fine (I had it remapped with midipipe and everything), but after I closed all the programs I was using and turned off the computer I could not get it working again. Garage band won't register midi signals from the drumset though the midi cable is connected and the yellow "in" light is flashing. Has anyone with a similar set up encountered this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, it gets frustrating when your so close to being able to record but can't.
