Although he played a gay cowboy in brokeback mountain, he was also the new Joker in "The Dark Knight", the new batman Sequel with Christian Bale. He plays a much more sadistic type joker vs. the goofy comic book character that Jack Nicholson did so well.
Quite sad, he was a good actor, I sure hope they finished his batman parts so he can have one last moment of glory in the history books.

Soooo, the pills found were not prescription but over the counter (according to CNN). In all honesty, it sounds like he may have stressed himself out to the extreme and possibly developed a sort of immunity to the sleeping pills, perhaps the reason why he took so many.

Not fond of some of his work, but he did a couple good things.

Jan 23, 2008 12:19 am Brad Renfro went last week but he was an out and out addict. Heroin, crack etc. Not exactly the same I suspect.

he was a couple years younger than me though.
Even seeing him a few years back on tv interviews, often he seemed to be off his face. jumpy n agitated and couldnt keep still.
