Use this thread to wish our beloved co-administrator best wishes on his birthday!
Noize, I'll be there in two-and-a-half years. I'll know a little about recording by then if I keep reading your posts!

Jan 20, 2008 04:39 pm Thanx guys, just got back from a nice late lunch at Red Lobster. Although I woulda preferred a burger and a beer, it was still nice. Now I just need to think of something to buy myself for my B-day.
It was a nice quiet B-day with no hoopla though so that was OK I guess. Half a freakin Century and I'm still rockin. Who woulda thunk it?
Thanx again guys.
Jan 20, 2008 06:14 pm Happy B-day noize! Heres to 50 years more, of me picking your brain!

Jan 21, 2008 01:17 am Paul,
Just to make you feel a bit less old, by the time you were born I had my first LP; was learning to play mandolin; was in kindergarten; loved rock 'n roll; had kissed my first girl.
But, you're still an old fart.
Happy birthday!!
(Yes you'll still like Slipknot, and nothing will ever make you dig Fiddy-cent.)

Jan 21, 2008 08:05 pm Thanx guys, and ya Walt n Glen. I know you are both a bit older, thank goodness someone else is besides me around here.
Not sure on the Geritol yet though. But I get enough shots in a month they must be puttin that in there somewhere.
And ya, my taste in music will probly never change, since it hasn't yet. And I do like most Rap n Hip Hop. Just that fiddy cent guy runbs me the wrong way.
Walt, not so sure I wanna meet Moses yet, although it probly wouldn't hurt.

Jan 22, 2008 03:00 am My music tastes changed as I got older, I now like a much larger range of music, and I'm pretty sure you'll do the same Noize, though since you already like so much it might be a bit harder. :)

Walt, Arc of Sighs now that is killer imagining what it would sound like coming from Moses point of view. I was actually just listening to Trower last night..
Coincidence? Maybe not.

Lame, It needs audio.....anyway; Could just a psycotic connection. Monday nights are fast becoming one night I can watch TV. It's pook-hunt night! Whooohoooo! This week the pook-hunts were followed by a show on psycic children. My oldest daughter and I have always been hot-wired. Who knows maybe we're networking!

Jan 23, 2008 11:51 pm Bizarre that this reminds me of the Freur song I heard the other night.......
" And we go Doot....doot doot....."
Okay, very off topic...
But does anyone...okay, anyone over forty...remember that one?

Jan 24, 2008 08:58 am Wow TC, I don't remember any Freur, but I remember the doot ... doot doot. What's really scarry is that song was out just last year in my mind. Yikes! The hooks I remember for Rock were Crimsen and Clover (something like Tommy James and the Shondells), Journey to the center of the mind (Amboy Dukes), Thinking is the best way to travel (Moody Blues). And then a little way down the line, per Noize's laast post, Here come the train, here come the train...Along came John (sorry memory chip just shorted out again. happens over 50)

Along came John, sloooowwww talkin John.
