I've heard a lot of people get good results with BodiLizer. Try the demo out: www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/BodiLizer/

forty, I'm gonna grab this later today and give it a try. I've got a couple fresh Electric tracks I can try it on and I'll let you know.

It works OK, but is kind of flaky to say the least. Not a perfect sound either, but I wasn't expecting perfection either.

I haven't found any that really work either, the best acoustic simulator I've heard so far is the one on my Boss GT6, that one is pretty sweet. If you fool around with the preset in GR3 you can get a decent sound, along with mic'ing the guitar for the string noise, blend the 2 tracks and it's not too bad.

I agree, the acoustic sim in the GT6 is very nice. Very close.

I wasn't going to add in, since it's not a VST, but oh well.

Ya, truthfully the hardware ones are better then the software ones.
