Remote recording suggestions

Hi everyone.

I'm conducting interviews in various locations and I am looking for a good remote recording setup. I'd rather not drag my studio mics and mixer everywhere but I want the same quality. I've looked at Amazon and Musician's Friend website and haven't seen much that fits my budget under $200.

My first option is to find a couple of quality clip on mics...and use my Behringer 1204FX and laptop when I go on site...this is my cheapest option so far if I can find the clip on mics that are good.

My second option is to buy a whole other setup I use when I don't want to take my gear with me that is more portable, but I won't sacrifice too much on quality of the recordings.

Suggestions?

I think the Zoom portables are a good bet for such a thing. At first look, they offer this one in your price range:

Zoom H2 is a good solution for this. There's a great forum that covers them here
