Hey all, made it back from our trip to Mexico. Very cool experience and although it feels good to be home, I miss being there already.
I slapped together a couple of vids from the trip. We went on an awesome tour to a Mayan villiage and did some zip lining and repelling but I haven't put that video together yet.
This one is of the Coba Mayan Ruins (no music on this one yet)
and this one is just some beach pictures and such from the resort we were at.

Dec 13, 2007 02:49 pm So did you manage to avoid any digestive disasters while you were there? That's the one thing that scares the crap out of me (oh, what a good pun) about going down there. Everybody I know who's spent any time in Latin America has at least one horror story about how they spent 3 straight days on the john :D
Nice pictures though. It really is a beautiful area. My wife went in college and has wanted to return ever since, so we'll probalby end up going some day.
Good idea to make a slideshow and put it on YouTube. Now that's good use of this newfangled technology.

Dec 13, 2007 02:53 pm Absolutley no intestinal issues at all... well except for *cough, cough* issues do to excessive drinking. We met quite a few people while we were there and none of them had any issues either. All the water in the resort is filtered. Now keep in mind that this was a 5-star resort so they had better have a handle on the water situation.

Dec 15, 2007 12:46 am Nice pix BH. I haven't been there since my teen years. The second one hung a bit and I don't think it made it all the way through. I'll give it another go tomorrow though.
Glad ya made it back in one piece though for sure.
