Acid 6 Pro does that by default, what is your setup ?? Do you have a standard soundcard or an external unit ???

You can go several ways with this. I myself also use Acid Pro 6.0 and have no big issues with it.

Depending on your sound card, you can either go with a headphone out to a pair of phones, witch may not get you a great feed of what your playing.

My persoanl setup, I have Line 6's Toneport GX unit with the Gearbox software. I also have the Presonues 1394 audio interface witch is a small firewire easy to use interface with an on screen mixer. This has a headphone out put, and a studio monitor RCA stereo output.

The Line 6 Toneport GX also has a headphone output and connects to your pc with USB and the Gearbox program has several bass and guitar amps and cab mods in the program.

Those are just a couple suggestions. Hope that helps!

my soundcard is the 1010LT

i have outputs one and 2 going into a headphone distribution amp, then from my headphone amp to my monitors...i have my audiobuddy preampo for vox and instruments connected to xlr input 1 and 2.

ill have a play with some settings but i was wondering if there was a setting i could check for acid to literally patch it out to my monitors

thanks guys

PHK. in the preferences, under AUDIO DEVICES, make sure the device is set to your soundcard.

If that's set then there is no reason this should not be outputting normally.

phk, again to repeat. Acid does not only allow it but it's the default. I can't imagine what it could be that is setup wrong.

i found out how to do it...you simply right click the record button, go down to record inputs then input monitor and switch it to on and voila you can hear yourself...

magic!
