Sep 15, 2007 07:44 pm Actually looks like fun. I had the pleasure of doing an ice dive here in MN many years ago. It is really only way to see in these lakes around here as it is the only time of year they are truly clear.
Its kind of cool though, you think your going to get this instant freezing feeling, but the suit is made so that the instant the water seep's in it is body temprature. Pretty freaky under the ice though. I was only under for 10 minutes, but was very disoriented for the first couple. Not something I would likely ever do again though.
