Sep 10, 2007 05:27 am Try Google, there are loads of them...our links directory has a bunch too.
Don't make the ultimate newbie mistake get every plug in you can get your hands on, just get ones you need...
Sep 10, 2007 05:37 am nice 1 mate.this time next week i shud have 1 or 2 songs complete so u can ava listen and tell me or opinions
Sep 10, 2007 05:40 am awesome.
the only reason I say not to get every plugin you can is that it's quite likely you will then start focusing on the wrong aspects of your music, or, spend loads of time trying everything under the sun on them, which is fine in time, but trying to learn them all at once is hard, get a few you will need, get to know them well, then move on to the next ones...baby steps.
Few things are worse than a new engineers first recording when he discovered some new effect...and uses it...everywhere...
Sep 10, 2007 05:46 am hi mate
the only efefcts i have used so far on - (7 songgs out of 18 mixed) are
reverb
eq
and a bit of compression on bass and drums.
5 songs are sounding great im really impressed with myself, but 3 of them the guitars are just not sitting correctly in the mix, they are standing out if you get what i mean.
Sep 10, 2007 06:25 am yeah, I get what you mean, try a little reverb or chorus to sink them back, maybe a little stereo enhancer to spread them out a little bit.
